We are seeking a Handyman / Carpenter to become a part of our construction team! You will perform the necessary work to maintain or repair properties, units/homes, commercial spaces, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion
- Order and replace broken parts or equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Foster positive communications and relationships with West Oak Investments clients and sub-contractors.
- Perform drywall installation, prep, painting, baseboards, and other finishing items.
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks Repair major and minor issues of landscape and buildings for our clients
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Must have own reliable vehicle
- Knowledge of commercial and multi-family construction techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and reports
- Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds+.
